DEVSOC was a weekend full of intense coding with unlimited pizzas, coffee and goodies. It was aimed at providing a platform for developers to implement their ideas, ideas that could save this crumbling humanity. The winning team bagged a prize money of 50k, followed by the first runner up getting 20k and the second getting 10k. Also there were three special mention prizes which comprised of goodie bags full of swags. From key chains to T shirts the bags had it all. Technical quizzes were conducted where every correct answer either won a UFO charger or an MI wristband.
A one of a kind session that was not only centered around technical know-how but also served as a great ice-breaker to help bridge the gap between the different streams VIT witnessed this year! The facilitator of the event was the Technical Head of the chapter, with each member of the board chipping in with information on their respective domains of expertise. The two-hour-long session was learning, interactive and jovial experience for enthusiastic individuals and was concluded with the handing out of schwag and goodies to the participants.
